Teiah Imani

Forever in our hearts. Forever our why.

"Her love lives on."

Every foundation has a story. Ours began with unimaginable loss — and an unbreakable love.

In January 2025, my daughter, Teiah Imani, tragically lost her life in a car collision, leaving behind her precious two-year-old daughter, A'Yuri. As our family struggled to navigate the overwhelming grief of losing Teiah, we were faced with another heartbreaking reality.

Shortly after her passing, A'Yuri — the living piece of Teiah that remained — was suddenly removed from our daily lives. In an instant, our family was separated from the child who had been deeply woven into our routines, traditions, memories, and loving connections since the day she was born.

"No child should lose a parent and lose their village too."

Experiencing the pain of losing my daughter while also being separated from my granddaughter revealed a reality that many families face after tragedy: the loss of connection, support, and stability during life's most difficult moments.

During one of the most difficult seasons of our lives, we discovered a painful gap in support and resources. There were very few services available for families experiencing the loss of a parent while simultaneously navigating separation, legal challenges, and the preservation of vital family bonds. We often felt alone, overwhelmed, and unsure where to turn for guidance, advocacy, and support.

From that pain came purpose.

From that purpose, The T5 Foundation was born.

"Love leaves a legacy. Connection keeps it alive."
